Donut Hole in Destin

Our Experience was okay, It was not what I heard from others. I had purchased the Diet Meal, which is a loaded up breakfast platter with biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs with hashbrowns amd the biscuit was too hard to eat and the grits were cold and had a very odd flavor. Not like grits at all so I had to send it back. The others in my party enjoyed their meal but We all can't say the same.

Fantastic. The service was excellent, the food was flavorful, and there is just something about the cost atmosphere. The chicken and waffles were crispy and flavorful. The "Diet" was a big hit. Pancakes are HUGE and fluffy. No one was left wanting. We were even surprised by the coffee. Ended up taking a Key lime pie home and we were not disappointed. This is a Destin stop that wee will be making again.

Been waiting to have their breakfast for 3 years and they did not disappoint! Waited in line 30-40 mins and I would do it all over again. The portions of food are gargantuan and the quality is just amazing! Besides their breakfast, the turtle cheesecake was the best I've ever had!❤

There is always a line, but it's well worth it. Don't let the name fool you. Yes they have donuts; my family and I have never had a donut from here that we didn't like. However there is always a daily special with pancakes and eggs, choice of meats (smoked bacon is the best) and hash browns. Also you can find healthy alternatives if you are trying to eat better.

Love this restaurant!!! We have eaten here for years. Menu is so full of good choices and the staff is so friendly and helpful. You don't want to miss the selection of donuts, cakes, pies and pastries!

I’m a very large person and eat way to much. Normally restaurants don’t have the ability to leave me full and impressed. Although this place let me leave both. 5 stars amazing

The wait is awful the food is just okay. It's good but not like we expected for how amazing everyone says it is. We placed a to go order and when we went inside after 30 min of waiting for them to call like they said they would, the order was just sitting on the counter.

Get here early! Or you'll have to wait in line! Awesome food. Amazing doughnuts. Looking forward to coming back next year!

A must while in Destin. The US98 location was incredible, from food to service. Husband and I went in for breakfast, there was a little wait (COVID rules is restricting some tables). Leah, our server, was incredible, she made us feel like we are family, respectful, precise, fast. We had a great time.

We were super excited to get a key lime pie. Do Not waste your time. It tastes like plain cheesecake with no flavor and the whipped cream is bitter. I've heard the breakfast is delicious!

We stayed in Destin for a week during vacation and had a friend recommend we try The Donut Hole. We absolutely loved it and came back again a second time. Try the gravy and biscuits! Also any of the donuts!! We will always come back for breakfast and donuts when we are in the area.

This was a nice find along the route. It is great as a donor shop/ coffee stop. Food seemed ok. The place is open and friendly with places to sit inside and outside. The prices are reasonable and the bathrooms are clean. A little run down, but a really nice place for breakfast or lunch or a good desert. Enjoyed the items with coconut and they have plenty. The donuts are a bit too sweet and some have a bit too much. Thanks.

Breakfast was Excellent! The service was fantastic both days. They were practicing social distancing and wearing masks.

More than just a doughnut shop. Has great food and excellent service. Ham and cheese omelet was very good and filling.

I’ve been here a few times and he egg salad is very delicious and I loved our waitress. However, there was a Middle Aged woman who was talking on the phone and was being rude to customers and seemed a little rude to me as well. This place has great sandwiches though.

What an awesome breakfast!! With the restrictions they made sitting available quickly and good came out fast as well. We will definitely be back to eat at the Donut Hole.

Delicious desserts! Get there early for the donuts because they sell out fast. We visit every time we are in the area! They have way more than donuts! They have some of the best looking( I say looking because I haven't tried them) pies and cakes I have seen! I definitely recommend this place to fill your sweet tooth!

This place is good. Prices are reasonable. I would rather eat here than most places in Destine..

This place is great! Now I understand why there is always a line out the door not over priced at all and large portions of food had to take a bunch home wasn’t expecting it but definitely a must when you come to destin!

We come here every year. Great food at great prices. They know people want their stuff (ketchup, tobacco, salt, pepper, butter, sugar, jelly, syrup, etc) ... So they keep it all near your table, wiped down and clean- then hand you what you need. Much better than cracker barrel that keeps it in the kitchen and your food is cold by the time you get the pepper for your eggs. Always a 5 star experience here.

There is a line in the mornings, but that is indicative of the quality inside. The line moved relatively quickly & it was separated by those sitting to eat & those getting something to-go from the bakery. The food was great. The pancakes are larger than most plates, so if you are asked how many, be aware that they are twice the size of "normal" pancakes. We got donuts to-go, for the trip home. I highly recommend the key lime filled!

Excellent food. We went during dinner and it was much slower. Staff was friendly and portions were big. Only issue we had was biscuits seemed as if they were from the morning and a bit hard, probably stick to dinner items at dinner time next time. Dressings are made in house and the ranch was amazing.

I was introduced to the donut hole years ago in Destin Florida. A friend told me about the Dutch crumb donuts which are truly tender full flavored and scrumptious recently I had breakfast with another friend I had the Monster omelette with hash browns and a biscuit and could not eat it all. Days before that I had the breakfast Burger which has two slices of bacon and a fried egg on top of the burger. It was out standing with hash browns.the donut hole opens at 6 a.m. in the morning get there early for a great seat and enjoy a wonderful breakfast or lunch with donuts

Great doughnuts, breakfast and brunch food. Always crazy busy, and most have patience and be nice to the service. Good price and great portions, item vary from time to time. But always give them a 150% on atmosphere and fresh doughnuts.

The corn beef hash was on point with huge chunks of corned beef and chunks of potatoes. The eggs were fluffy. Our waitress went above and beyond and took the time to chat for a minute. Get there early as it’s a popular place and the line is usually out the door but worth the wait.

We just got back from our vacation to Destin, and the Donut Hole was one of my favorite restaurants. The food was excellent, the desserts even better, and the service was great. I felt like home and everyone was so nice. Unfortunately, I just went to use my Donut Hole coffee mug for the first time, and found a small crack at the bottom, so my coffee leaked out. I guess I'll have to return some day to get another mug and maybe some key lime pie, or those huge cake slices, or that pecan pie, and of course donuts. So many delicious reasons to go back.

The food is, without a doubt, some of the best food I've ever tasted. Came to the area with my family while on vacation in Destin and stopped in for brunch. One person in my party said the tomatoes tasted homegrown and they were delicious, while another said the food tasted like it was truly made from scratch. All 7 of us loved our food and are thinking about coming back tomorrow 😆100% recommend. Many, many choices and it doesn't seem you can go wrong!

Great breakfast with great service. The omelettes, grits and toast are great.But many other great choices.

Been at the Donut Hole numerous times. Awesome experience. I've eaten there at least 20 times and will continue to visit. It was great 35 years ago and is the same today.

Gem of the Gulf CoastRun by locals with extremely good southern food. Key lime pie is one of the best, rivals any others I’ve had including in the keys.Fast, southern hospitality!!!

The very best eggs Benedict. The club is very large and stacked with fresh sliced meats. If you haven't already heard the donuts are the best in the U.S. especially the red velvet.
